In the car on the way home from work yesterday, I glanced over and saw a woman sucking her thumb. Waiting at the light. Driving a beat-up Kia. A woman in her mid-twenties. Sucking her thumb.
Apparently this isn't as strange as I thought it was.
"Yeah, my ex-girlfriend sucked her thumb when we were together," TH told me. "She was like 23 at the time."
My judgment: still weird.

I sucked my thumb until 6th grade. But yeah, not into my mid-twenties. People do some weird shit in public.
