Post-Irony
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the age of post-irony is truly here.
A lot of this, obviously, comes from the earnest passion people felt for voting/rooting for Obama. Most of the other stuff is just incidental: my friends talking about how they feel to each other, being supportive of one another, and generally just not being too cool to be who they are. If that's all it takes, it makes me wonder how deep-rooted the age of irony actually was.

The age of traditionalist irony has just begun.
